Recently, the city of Memphis celebrated it's 200-year anniversary, and much focus has been placed on the city's growth and expansion as well as how far we've come culturally, socially, even racially. At the same time, Orange Mound celebrated 100 years since its founding. For six years now, we've opened our doors to women in the Orange Mound community who needed employment, a safe space, a shoulder to cry on, or all of the above. We've made friends, family, connections we'll continue to support in our time here, and we hope the interest we've seen in our small corner of the world continues to grow. More than 50 of our sisters in Christ have found employment, and a second home, within our space, and we hope to grow that number as we continue to grow ourselves.
